Rettig Group has signed an agreement to divest 100% of the shares in Nordkalk Corporation to SigmaRoc Plc at an enterprise value (EV) of EUR 500 million. Nordkalk is the leading limestone company in Northern Europe, with 2020 turnover of EUR 276 million. SigmaRoc is a UK-based construction materials group listed on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange.

In connection with the transaction Rettig Group will become a significant shareholder in SigmaRoc. The completion of the transaction remains subject to customary anti-trust approval from relevant authorities.
