Excellent scores for eQ in 2021 PRI assessment
eQ asset Management has again achieved excellent results in the 2021 PRI (UN’s Principles of Responsible Investment) assessment. The data subject to the assessment concerns the year 2020.
eQ annually reports to PRI on the company’s practices in sustainable investing and on concrete engagement activities in the investees.
RI's new rating scale is based on a star grade (1 star "poor" -> 5 stars "best").
eQ performed better than the median in all reported six areas. The ESG rating of private equity has remained among the best for several years. For the first time, real estate investments rose to the best category (five stars). As a new area for the PRI assessment, eQ included corporate bonds, the results of which are also good.
eQ became a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2010 and has committed to incorporating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into investment decision-making and ownership practices as well as to promoting the development of sustainable investment practices in the industry.
