It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mikko Koskimies, who served as the Chief Executive Officer of eQ Asset Management Ltd and eQ PLC. Mikko led eQ Asset Management from 2012 and eQ PLC from 2021. Prior to joining eQ, he had an extensive and distinguished career in the financial markets, particularly in the asset management sector.

Mikko was a highly respected leader and a beloved colleague. His loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of working with him. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire eQ Group team, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mikko’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

In honor of Mikko’s wishes, donations in his memory may be made to the Läpimurto Foundation, a cause to which he was a major benefactor.
